I wanted to post a comment that I found your site through a Neuroblastoma "Google Alert" I have set up.

My daughter was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in November of 2004. And I wanted to let you know that you are definitely not alone in your battle with this horrible disease. There are MANY kids being treated at that same hospital for Neuroblastoma.

I am apart of a support group for families of Neuroblastoma. You can join the list and meet many wonderful parents who can help you through this VERY difficult time in your life.

Here is the link if you are interested : http://listserv.acor.org/SCRIPTS/WA-ACOR.EXE?SUBED1=N-BLASTOMA&A=1

I have many links on our blog to other families that are battling the disease as well. Feel free to stop by when you have time. I know things may be chaotic right now.

Please know that our prayers are with your family. I will stop by often to check on your little Liam.
(I love that name by the way!) =)

Please know that your son Liam is in our prayers. He is such a darling little boy!
Our son Daniel was diagnosed with stage 4 nb in 2001 at age 3. He was also treated by the wonderful doctors at MSKCC. We traveled all the way from from MN to get their wonderful care. Daniel will be in remission for 5 years this May, and is a very happy and healthy 8 year old in second grade, doing wonderfully in school.. academically and socially.
Keep your hearts full of hope and prayer always.. and know that the Docs at MSKCC really know this disease very well.
God Bless,
Sara and Vic Hammer

Best wishes from another MSKCC neuroblastoma family. My daughter Carolyn was diagnosed with stage iv nb in January 2003 at 4 1/2 years. We live outside Washington DC but stayed in NYC eight months for her treatment at MSK--the best decision I have ever made.

The road your are on is tough, but you will get through! Some days you will carry Liam and other days his amazing spirit and will to live will carry you. You will find strength you never knew you had, deeper love than you ever thought possible, and friends in the most unlikely places.

With faith and hope always,

We're in Morris County and when our daughter Laura was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in May 2005 her treatment was specified by MSK and tests and surgery done there but her chemo was administered in patient at Morristown Memorial exactly following the regimen specified by Dr. Kushner. This was close to home and between my husband and me taking turns in the hospital and running back and forth to home and me to work (also in Morris County) when I could we managed without having to relocate ourselves or staying in Ronald McDonald five blocks from MSK during chemo (your other option). Mara Stiles, Boonton Twp, Morris County, NJ (don't be discouraged by my daughter's case. She had very resistant nb that was not very responsive to any treatment at MSK and CHOP. As such we seemed be in a small minority of the nb patients we met most of whom were doing well in treatment ) Mara Stiles http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/laurastiles

Gretchen and Larry -

You two, and Ella, and especially Liam W-I-L-L get through this. It is sad and horrendous and difficult and unfair, but you W-I-L-L kick this cancer's butt. I know this from experience.

Two years ago, one of the kids in my family, 5-year-old Jake, was diagnosed with very aggressive malignant brain cancer. The tumor was intertwined in Jake's brain stem, so the doctors were not hopeful and his first surgery removed only a small portion of it.

Long story short, Jake is with us now and doing well. It's been a long, hard road but he's home and the cancer is in remission. I just know that you'll eventually have a similar story to tell.

My heart is with you guys.

To the Witt Family,
I am a complete stranger, but I had gotten an e-mail from a dear friend with such unfortunate news earlier today. At 22 years of age, I recently (within the past month) lost my father to stage iv lung cancer. And though there isn't anything I can say that may put your minds or hearts at rest, just know that your little boy will fight as hard as he can because children innately know to put their all into something.

From what I have read on your page, as well as what I know about MSKCC, your little angel is in wonderful hands. I wish you nothing but love, peace, and strong health as you make your way through this trying journey. Unfortunately, I am not a blood match, but I will forward the e-mail received to let all know about Liam's battle.

Larry / Gretchen,
I work at Helen of Troy your email was forwarded to me. I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and when I read your email I thought of her, needless to say it made me cry. I can't imagine what you're going through. Your son is beautiful, and like so many other well wishers have said, children are a lot stonger than we think. I'm sure you'll get through this. You've been in my prayers since I read about Liam. May God bless you all.

Gretchen,

I'm so sorry to hear this unfortunate news about Liam. With my son turning 2 this month, I can only imagine what you're family is going through. I've spread the word re an apt search. This was forwarded by a friend of mine. You may already have this information about the hospital's arranged accommodations, but in case you don't:

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center,New York, NY: Memorial Sloan-Kettering has an arrangement for accommodations with Helmsley Medical Tower, within two blocks of the Cancer Center. Call 1-800-HM-TOWER or (212) 472-8400 for rate information. Should no rooms be available at the Helmsley Medical Tower, the Barbizon Hotel, about a fifteen minute walk from Sloan-Kettering offers standard rooms. Call 1-800-223-1020 for more information.

Best,

Gretchen and Larry, I am so so sorry you and Liam are going through this. This is extremely hard for all of us to grasp. It truly isn't fair. I have faith, however, that Liam is a fighter and will get through this. It is amazing to see that so many people have visited this site, many that don't even know you. There is alot of support out there to help you through this terrifying time. And its clear that you're at the best hospital that you could be at. I wish I was closer so that there was more that I could do. Im thinking about you all, especially sweet Liam, all the time. I miss you all and love you very very much. Larry and Gretchen,

My heart goes out to you as parents. I am sitting here fighting back the tears at work while I write this. What terrible news to hear that Liam is fighting for his life with this serious disease. Such a young soul and to have to go through this life-threatening ordeal is just incomprehensible. Having two kids of my own, one of which is the same age as Liam, it's just inimaginable what you must ge going through right now. The emotional swings, the questions and the tough decisions that have to be made. All I can do is pray. And pray again. Every chance I have I will be praying for a miracle in Prince Liam the Brave's life and for you as parents to remain strong.

Please, please, please, if there is anything I can do to help just let me know. I don't know too many people in the city but I will do my best to ask around at work and church for anyone with an available apartment. In the mean time just know that Liam is being lifted up in faith by my family and through the prayer chain at church. There are many saints praying for Liam's complete healing.

Stay strong and keep the faith!

Sincerely,
Jeff Graham

Gretchen and Larry, I hope things are going as well as can be expected since I visted with you the day Liam was being transferred from the PIU to the inpatient wing. I've tried to call you a few times but your message machine was full. Please don't hesitate to call me any time with questions -- or have a friend or family member call me if you are busy. I am right over here in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and am happy to discuss tips for coping with treatment or pop by if needed. Also, I want to let you know that we too were out of network and were able to quickly win this battle with our insurer. I'm happy to share our experience and a few insights that were valuable for us on the insurance front. Most importantly, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as you travel this difficult path.

Spoke with Sharyn yesterday and heard the news. The cutest 2 year old on the hill is in our hearts and prayers and added to our prayer list at church.

We left our number with Sharyn. Let us know if we can do anything around the house or property that can help out. I can check on the place in the evenings and weekends and want to help. If you want us to stop in and check on Sharyn, the nanny or Ella, we will. They may not call us, because they don't know us, but you do.

My kids would love to walk the dogs, or just give them some weekend exercise in the yard.

Take care of that little man and please let us know what we can do to help at home.

This past Saturday I donated platelets for Liam and please let me reassure everyone who reads this that it is noting to be afraid of. It doesn't hurt, the staff treats you like royalty and you get to rest or look at TV for about one hour while the process is going on.
Think of your donated platelets as little soldiers lined up and ready to come to the aid of our Prince Liam the Brave.

We are here at the Housewares Show all thinking of little Liam, you both as well as Ella. To know that you are back in NY all exerting a maximum degree of love and energy is what gives us the strength to convey the OXO spirit to others in your absence. Many are asking for you both and hoping and praying to hear positive feedback on the success of Liam's battle. Trust me when I say your network of support and prayer is absolutely enormous, and realize that where we can, in addition to a PR pitch or sale of OXO good, we receive pledge after pledge of prayer and also many blood and platelet donor promises Thinking of you all and hoping life returns to normal as soon as humanly possible-

I'm so happy that Liam is in a hospital that is so familiar with the needs of children - the fact that he "gets" to be in the little red wagon is just way cool, you do whatever it takes to lift their spirits as much as possible. I think Liam is in VERY good hands. Having met his parents only the one time, I believe Prine Liam comes very strong stock. I'm positive that he is and will continue to be a good fighter.

We continue to think of and pray for you all.

Gretchen and Larry, Please know that we (the reps) are all thinking of you and praying for Liam each and every day. I read all your blogs today and see that Liam really is brave in the way he is living with all the changes in his life. It must help you get through each day seeing that he continues to have a zest for all those wonderful curiosities like the floor waxer and the buttons that operate it. When he recovers from this experience we can all look back and appreciate his ability to endure during this extremely difficult time. Your encouragement and belief in him as well as our prayers will make it happen.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do beyond what is already listed on this blog site.

You would have heard from me much sooner but I could not get through to this blog site. I thought it was still being set up because I kept getting a notice that it doesn't exist on my laptop, so I tried my PC at the office today now that I am back from the show and it works.

Hi Larry and Gretchen, just saw the latest blog and update. When I read how brave Liam is being and how incredibly painful this is I want to somehow make my kids understand how lucky they are. They complain about things that in perspective are absolutely ludicrous. Liam is going to be one great young man for having to go through this and there will never be prouder parents as you watch him grow. Since Liam wants to travel I am seeing Disney in his future and a personal visit from Mickey. I am also seeing a floor cleaning machine at the Witt household in the future. Hang in there and never give up. Love from Chicago.

I learned about you through one of my best, dearest friends, Julie Y in NC, who forwarded me your email almost two weeks ago. She requested that we all keep you in our prayers. When I reached back out to her, she mentioned you are a Meredith College graduate. I'm an Angel, too - Class of '98.

Praying for you and giving you some "Angel" power from down here in NC is the easy stuff. Hang in there through the tough stuff. I, too, have a little blonde haired boy who loves his red wagon, power tools and machines, and his books about dinosaurs. We send hugs to Liam when we hug each other.

We're just a phone call or email away.
Much love,

Gretchen and Larry,

I am a Marywood college friend of Stephanie's and she just shared with me your blog and the news of your beautiful son's diagnosis. I am so deeply touched by your words and the sweet pictures of Liam. My tears can't seem to stop flowing reading all that you have had to endure so far. Please know, Gretchen, that as the mothers surrounded and supported you in the hospital, there will be a group of mothers from my women's group at church, in Shelton, CT, surrounding and supporting all of you in prayer.

Hi Everyone,

The Prince Liam the Brave Blog is fantastic! Thank you again for taking the time to keep us all informed in this way. I am learning so much, and find myself transfixed by every word I read. I am empowered by what you have shared. Thank you.

Kudyba has some cute little cards that she made for Liam in her new Book/PrintMaking Class. She has asked me to send them to Liam so, I will do this right now.

Liam's photos are on our refrigerator at home, and he has become one of our biggest topcis of conversation.

We want a photo of Liam with Dinosaurs!

Looking forward,
Katherine, Djoulde, and Kudyba

Hi Liam, Larry and Gretchen,

Just want to let you know how much I enjoyed the singing and playing Liam did for me yesterday, he does a lovely "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", what else would a grandma say?? So glad to hear the good news that Liam does not have the flu and glad you did not have to wait the five days. I can just picture him swabbing his nose and pushing his IV pole around, although I would much rather see him searching for frogs in his pond and I know you would too. I am so proud of my brave Prince Liam. Love and kisses and hugs, Grandma Judy.

Thanks to you both for keeping the blog and keeping us all up to date. I try to look every day to see how things are going in your part of the world. It certainly sounds like Liam is truly making the best of the situation, and keeping a very good attitude. It sounds like a very wonderful hospital to be in, if you have to be in one I suppose. We think of you all the time. Stay strong, keep the faith. We'll be sending your positive thoughts and prayers in your direction. Scott & Cindy Goolsby

My Mom called yesterday to see how Liam was- if you don't recall she runs the prayer chain at her church- Liam remains at the top of the list! Needless to say she takes great interest in making sure the power of prayer she so fervently believes in reaches everyone she cares for. I relay this message to remind you that there is a huge network of support out here all working to help you in whatever ways we can.
Mom and I spoke about my girls and David, but mostly about you and Liam, and the other things that can be done to help. Obviously she is praying for that success, too!
It's another Monday morning for us, and I am thinking of you all, wishing for you to have just another Monday morning very soon.

Gretchen and Larry,
I heard about Prince Liam through my old friends at the the magazine. Tom and I want you to know our hearts and prayers are with you and your whole family at this time. Liam is the most beautiful little man!!! Reading your description of his diagnosis, though I'm sure so painful for you to write, made me cry. Gavin being 18 months now, it really hits home.

Good luck in the coming weeks. We will be thinking of you.

Hi Gretchen, I so believe it was no accident that I heard a "whisper" to reach out to you today at the clinic! Wow, I am very encouraged to know a lot of what you shared with me! This disease has to have a bigger voice! As for your concerns about "keeping the bugs away" ... yes you live with a heightened sense of vulnerability but don't be overly worried. Most infections actually come from the body itself, like a line infection. I used to make Nick wear a mask when he was neutropenic and then they said to not worry about it! He was relieved. I will keep a constant watch on your blog! I see some of my NB friends found you before I did, from the guestbook!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have! None are too silly. I was just in your shoes not long ago!

Larry & Gretchen, I have been trying to think how I could possibly write how my heart reaches out to you all. I will only say that there has been a candle buring in my home 24 hours a day(It's a Catholic thing) for Liam since the day we heard about his diagnosis. His picture from this website was cut and put into a picture frame with my 3 year old great niece who was diagnosed with Leukemia 1 1/2 years ago at age 1 1/2. Jack & I pray for them both every day and you are all in our thoughts every day.

Visiting Lexie consists of sitting at the front door of their house and "playing" thru the glass as she also is going thru Chemo and cannot have anyone in physical contact. After reading your message from this week, I called Jack and there is now a candle buring for you and Gretchen also. Hope they both help. Keep your chins up and conquer one day at a time. All my love and prayers. Mary Ellen

It might interest you to check out his blog about Neuroblastoma and all that he researches about it. If you haven't already seen his website, it's www.sydneydungan.com . You are both amazing, so strong and powered by a gloriously fierce and true love. A friend with a child with CF once said to me "eventually it comes down to a choice: do you want to live in fear or live in love". And though one cannot help but wander over the border to fear from time to time, it s the love that gets you through in the long run. I'm glad you two have so much and I'm sending more your way.

We are especially looking forward to spending some special time with Liam and Ella, our beautiful grandchildren. Since our visit in January 2007, so much has happened to change all of our lives, especially yours. While we are there, we hope to take some of the burden off of you and have some special family time together.

May we all as a family find peace in the words of Liam and Ella's the late Great Grandma Ann's favorite bible reading, the 23rd Psalm. She recited every night at bedtime as she had it memorized and even as Alzheimers robbed her mind of precious memories, people's names and faces, she never forgot the words to this beautiful Psalm.

See you soon,

I thought I had unsubscribed to Cookie magazine, but for some reason after many months of not getting it, I received this month's edition - I think for a reason. My 5 year old daughter is being treated for leukemia. In some sick way I was thrilled to read about childhood cancer in one of the kiddie magazines. No one likes to talk about the realities of pediatric cancer - it's not glamorous and quite frankly, it is the most heartbreaking thing to see. I NEVER thought I would be the parent of a child who has cancer. I would get my stuff from St. Jude and just donate money praying that all those kids would survive. I am now in their shoes and nothing sucks more (actually I know what would suck more and I have witnessed it, but I try hard not to think about it). Perhaps the editor in chief of Cookie could do a big thing on kids cancers for her September issue which is pediatric cancer awareness month (oh, by the way, I have heard that the Leukemia Lymphoma Society has tried to get Oprah to do something and she has said no)
Anyway, our site is catherinealexandravogt.blogspot.com

Wishing your adorable son all the best during his treatment. Just know that kids are SO RESILIENT and that you will get your strength from him.

Gretchen and Larry, your ordeal tomorrow brings back memories of my sitting in the special waiting room for scary surgeries while my husband was having open heart surgery two years ago. I was with him in pre-op and after the anesthesiologist gave Pat his first dose, he smiled at me and said, "I wish I could give YOU something," and boy, I wish he could have too! Because that surgery day is another of the many alternate universes you are living in, as is going to see someone you love in the post op ICU. I hope your surgeon is as kind as Pat's was - he said, "he's fine" as soon as our eyes met when he came to see me after surgery; he didn't have me endure one second extra of strain. And I warn you, though most of Pat's nurses were great, I learned the hard way that some nurses choose post op care intensive because they like their patients unconcious - technical skills are their specialities, not people skills. I was grateful for their technical expertise, but they weren't the best communicators.

The only way out is through, and I will hold you dear to my heart as you get through tomorrow.

I came to find your blog after seeing the small mention in cookie magazine last week. The way you have shared your ordeal on this blog is nothing short of amazing. Reading what you have written makes it so painfully obvious that this could happen to any moms and dads. Living a happy, normal life that is suddenly turned upside down with news like this.
I got involved with a local cancer organization soon after my second was born because I just felt drawn to it. Looking back, I realize that it was a story about Alex Scott on Oprah that made me really aware of pediatric cancer.
Your posts on April 16th and May 1st said so clearly what I have often thought about over the past few years. Why does pediatric cancer not get the "press" that something like breast cancer gets, is it going to take a celebrities child getting cancer to change that ,and why can't all wonderful grass roots organizations come together to help build more awareness and raise funds? I know, not easy questions, but I have no doubt that it is parents like you who will have the determination to make things happen.
I will be thiking abut your family on Wednesday.

Thinking of Liam and you today especially. Thanks for sharing all the details of this journey on your blog. It keeps the energy and prayers fresh for Liam. Your post last week about the reduced size of the tumor and the HUGE stem cell count was an amazing ray of hope. We will be thinking of you all day and looking forward to an update.

Hi guys. You've just been heavy on my mind lately and I thought I would check in. I felt bad that I had to leave you on your own Sunday as I rushed off to finish my chores - it just seemed to stick with me all week - as if anything could be more important.

I was hoping for great news about the surgery and see it's been moved to tomorrow. Jill and I fell asleep talking about you guys the other night. I'm sure we'll do the same tonight as we weave you into our bedtime prayers with Rachel and Zachary. Just wanted you to know we're with you.

It was really nice to see Liam and Ella this past weekend. You are all always welcome and you can just stop in - don't wait for an invite. I'll leave the fishing tackle out in the little white house by the pond - use it whenever you want - the key is behind the shutter by the door.

Liam - thanks for touching my heart.

I know you are both glad and not glad that this day is finally here. The waiting has to have been incredibly difficult for you both. Last Christmas, Tyler had sugery and I remember every minute of watching him take the sedative -till they walked through the doors to tell me I could see him- the wait was the hardest part. We will be thinking of you both so much today as you wait for this time to be over and the next hurdle to begin. From across the ocean we send our thoughts of frogs and butterflys..and of course our support and love for Mom and Dad.

What is there for a grandparent to say when their beautiful, most precious gift from God a 3 year old grandson is going through a surgery to remove a cancerous tumor? A tumor that he cannot yet even pronounce or know what it means and should not have to know at this young tender age. The rare beauty of this child is that he cares for others and captures everyone's heart that comes in contact with him. I speak for all of Liam's grandparents and great-grandparents when I say that this is so very, very heart-wrenching, gut wrenching and agonizing to watch your own grown children go through this with their child. There are no words to describe their anguish and ours as we wait on this most difficult day of our lives and theirs, while we entrust the life of this beautiful little boy, our grandson Prince Liam to a very talented surgeon, whom most of us have never met.

Thank you to all who have made this ordeal a labor of love, your outpouring of love and caring to our children, Larry and Gretchen. Thank you to those who have perhaps done something or given something and have wished to remain anonymous. Believe me it has not gone unappreciated.

Tomorrow, Grandpa Rich and I will return to Michigan after doing what we could to help out. The biggest reason for our trip was to spend 2 precious days with our grandchildren and to gaze upon and touch our Prince Liam the Brave and cheer him on to victory. May God bless all of you for being there for our children in this most difficult time. May you continue to hold them up in prayer, thoughts and deeds as they face the days ahead.

Sincerely and with great appreciation,

Judy and Rich Bloomfield (Larry's parents) and Sharon Holt (Gretchen's Mom)

I am sure that she is watching over things and making sure that he is receiving only the best of care.
I am so happy to know that your wonderful friends are there to help you through. You have the most spectacular support system from people all over the United States.Liam has captured the hearts of so many people because he is such a special little boy.We love him so much. He will be playing with frogs, cars, and chasing butterflies soon. Love Aunt Jodie, Uncle Mike, and cousin Bryce. xoxoxoxo,

Larry & Gretchen,
I have been reading your blog every day. I have been praying for dear Liam and your family ever since you told me how ill Liam was. I am glad for all of you that the surgery is over. Hopefully Liam's road to recovery will be a smooth road from now on. I had a nice chat with your mom when I picked up the insurance paperwork, Larry. A very sweet concerned mom/grandma. I left a little gift for your "Prince & Princess" with your mom. Remember, if I can do anything here on the homefront for you, just let me know. I am only down the road a piece. I can get groceries to you, medication, whatever you need.
Neverending thoughts and prayers,

Gretchen,
You don't know me, but as a mom with a baby boy who has had his own medical struggles, I had to write. I'm so relieved that Liam's surgery was a success and I look forward to reading about his recovery in the future.
With Mother's Day approaching, I will keep you in my thoughts as I have kept Liam in my thoughts since I first found this blog. As I celebrate my son's first birthday on May 12th, I will be sure to celebrate Liam's birthday as well by spreading the word about his fight and asking everyone I know to come to this page and do what they can.
Finally, I wish for your son the very same thing that I wish for my own: May Liam have a long, happy, healthy life and may all of his dreams come true one at a time.

To any of those thinking about donating platelets I'd like to say it was easy peasy. I went yesterday morning and the staff at the MSKCC couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It took just a bit over 2 hours for me and I ended up chatting with my uber friendly nurse for most of it. I do have to say that I did feel quite drowsy for the rest of the day. Good luck Liam and the rest of the Witt family!

Gretchen,

I have been following Liam's story since you sent out the first e-mail. As a mother of an 18 month old my heart immediatly sank. I can't even begin to know what you all are going through but want you to know that you are all in my thoughts daily. I was thrilled when I opened this months issue of Cookie Magazine and saw the letter from the editor was all about Liam. It sounds like you have an amazing support group and an incredible amount of people that love you and your family. I will continue to do all I can to help Liam get well.

I can't imagine how difficult this must be to go through, but I pray for Liam and your family, and I hope that sunnier days are ahead. I just wanted to write a comment to say hang in there! I was diagnosed with a rare cancer too at at 17 (i am now 26) I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma of the Ureter and am in a medical journal because I am the first person to have Ewing's there. Things felt hopeless alot of the time especially when I became neutropenic and had so many infections I had to be put in isolation. Also, the docs told me I would never be able to have a child...well I did in March, a healthy baby girl... My prognosis was grim, but I am here cancer free with a baby! I went to Sloan too. Is Dr. Meyers still there? My surgeon was Dr. Laquaglia and he was an angel! I wish the best for your family and all of you will be in my thoughts!

Hugs,

Gretchen, Larry, and sweet Liam,
Although you don't know me, I figured I'd sign anyways to show my support. I actually found your blog after reading "Cookie" magazine and the editor's letter mentioned your sweet baby boy. I checked out the blog and your sweet boy touched my heart with his bravery. Please know that your family is in my daily prayers. We have a blood drive coming up at the hospital I work at, and I am going to go and donate in honor of Liam. Signing off with a prayer that your sweet, handsome prince will kick cancer's butt!

I can tell you from personal experience that he won't remember most of what he's going through. I was 4, turned 5 in the hospital, when I was burned - spent 9 weeks in the hospital recovering. My mother (who was there every single day) remembers way more about my pain than I do. All I remember are certain smells, etc. I remember nothing about the pain that was involved, and I know there were certain parts there were intense with pain. I would have to agree that Liam will have little retention of his pain - he might have memories of the nice people - when I was that little, I remembered the nice nurses, the doctor, the play room, a few of my "roommates", the games I played with them, a doll I had, my brothers coming to visit, etc. But I do not remember pain - only a tube put down my nose/throat when I first got there that made me gag. :) That's it. This will be something that you as parents will likely never forget, but Liam will quite possibly have no bad memories of the pain he endured.

Stay strong, and know that you are indeed doing what needs to be done for Liam. And he's doing so well, he's such a trooper - he's very strong-willed and sure sounds like he's just such a good boy.

Thanks so much for keeping us up to date on Liam. It sure sounds like he has some real friends at his fire station.

Because of your faith it will happen.” (Matthew 9:29)

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” (Colossians 3:2)

Set your mind for victory. When you live each day with an attitude of hopeful expectancy, you can actually see good things begin to happen. Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” In other words, you will have what your faith expects!

It is very impressive to read your blog and see how your experience has caused you to cherish all of life's wonderful experiences, which most of us tend to take for granted. It is a reminder to us enjoy every moment and not take things for granted. Thanks for sharing your experience, you may not realize it, but you are helping others more than you think they are helping you!

Praying for a “wow – there’s nothing left” report!
